Piazza Bagni : The town's oldest square. It has numerous spa centres, which have been built near the Gurgitello spring. One of these is the Belliazzi Spa, which was built to the orders of Andrea D'Avalos.

Sentinella : This is a hamlet of upper Casamicciola, which also houses the Geophysical Observatory within its hills. You can find ancient instruments used for observing tellurian movements and a special seismic tank designed by the scientist Giulio Grablovitz in the Observatory.

Monte Rotaro : You can find the crater Cretaio on this hill. There are pathways leading from the crater to the towns of Ischia Ponte and Barano. Along the pathways geysers denoting volcanic activity can be observed amid the greenery.

Castiglione : One of the most beautiful thermal parks on the island, Castiglione lies between Casamicciola and Ischia Porto towns. It has several swimming pools filled with thermal water at various temperatures lying in a lush green setting dappled with brightly coloured flowers.
